THE NATURAL ALTERNATIVE TO LAWN CARE

Many customers prefer alternative services instead of traditional lawn care. To provide complete customer satisfaction, we have developed THREE programs to address this growing demand:

• Natural Organic Program
  
• All-Nutrient Program
  
• Customized Fertilizer

All three programs are recommended by our highly-qualified technical staff who have evaluated numerous organic and natural products.

NATURAL ORGANIC FERTILIZER PROGRAM - NO PESTICIDES

This no pesticide products program avoids all pesticide use, thus no products are used to control insects, diseases, pest problems or weeds.

Formulations used in the Natural Organic Fertilizer Program consist of dehydrated poultry waste, blood meal, and/or feather meal. Sometimes natural mineral nutrients are also added.

Natural Organic Fertilizers contain low amounts of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, so larger product quantities must be used during applications. Consequently, these application costs are higher than for other lawn applications.

The Natural Organic Fertilizer Program typically produces good results with no burning to the lawn. Keep in mind that lawn response to the treatments in also typically slower, but by the third application, visible color and vitality results are usually present.

ALL NUTRIENT FERTILIZER PROGRAM - NO PESTICIDES

Like the Natural Organic Program, this program also avoids pesticide use, so it does not control weeds, insects, diseases or other related pest problems

The All-Nutrient Fertilizer Program has treatments that are formulated of plant nutrients which contain synthetic organic sources and mineral salts, such as urea, potassium chloride, and di-ammonium phosphate. These compounds are similar to common and traditional types of fertilizers used by many home gardeners.

The All-Nutrient Fertilizer Program provides lawns with beneficial nutrients at a cost similar to regular lawn care programs. If soils are warm, fertility response can be seen in as little as one week.

CUSTOMIZED FERTILIZER PROGRAM LIMITED PESTICIDES

This program is tailored to meet the needs of the individual lawn by combining our normal pesticide and non-pesticide programs.

During fertilizer applications, we can "spot-treat" with a targeted pesticide application that is applied only to the areas with a visible pest problem. If the customer prefers, we can also treat the entire lawn. Therefore, this program provides the customer with the option of using products to eliminate specific problems only during a specific time period, while applying non-pesticide applications the remainder of the time.

With any of these programs, we strongly recommend the following for best results:

• Proper mowing practices
  
• Regular irrigation that spreads moisture throughout the root system
  
• Regular fertilization
  
• Core aeration and dethatching to reduce soil compaction, to promote root development, and to increase nutrient and moisture absorption
  
• Regular pH balancing treatments to maintain proper soil acidity levels
  
• Regular lawn inspection for early pest detection
  
• Application of dry granular fertilizer if needed
